In my own journey, I learned as much as I could on my own but working with mentors drove me to success faster. Having a mentor means security—the confidence that you can forge ahead knowing you’ve got a net to catch you when you fall and a hand to guide you gently in the right direction.
That’s what I now give to my mentees. I work with them to create the experience they want and need, to help them make their publishing dreams come true.
Mentorships Are Partnerships
I take on a limited number of mentees so I can give each my focus. I meet my clients where they are in their journey. If you’re just beginning a novel, I will brainstorm with you. If you’re querying agents, I will lead you through the process. If you’ve got a new book coming out, I will help you prepare.

Teaching about craft and publishing is one of my favorite parts of being an author. I LOVE brainstorming characters and plot points, making a book sing, and giving it the best push out into the world.
GUIDANCE
Each writer’s process is different, just as each publishing journey is unique. I work with my mentees to find the right pace for THEM, whether they’re just starting or have some experience.
DEDICATION
It took me many years, over 100 rejections and working with mentors of my own to build my publishing career. If I can do it, so can you, and I’ll be here to hold your hand for as long as you need me.
